Newly freed Shanita Namuyimbwa aka Bad Black is fully reformed and is to launch a music career as a gospel artiste.

Tasting her first feel of freedom, Bad Black held a press conference at Liquid Silk in Bugolobi after her release from Luzira prison to talk about her experience in jail.

She said she was reformed and would launch a gospel music career. Bad Black emerged from the gates of Luzira prison after serving 4 years for fraud and embezzlement.

She emerged to a waiting sea of journalists for whom she had been fodder during her hey days of long nights out and themed parties, complete with an ensemble of hangers-on.

The notorious city socialite's troubles started when she fell out with boyfriend David Greenhalgh in 2012.

In a spell-binding spending spree with another boyfriend Meddie Sentongo, she blew away US$2m, feeding a lavish lifestyle of expensive cars, houses, land and wild parties.

The money had been meant for a joint business venture with Greenhalgh.
