Taxi takes a plunge in Manafwa

A commuter mini-bus registration plunged into Manafwa River at a bridge along the Mbale-Tororo road.

Traffic police were yet to establish what happened to the occupant(s) of the ill-fated taxi.

Preliminary Police investigations, however, indicate that there was only a driver and his conductor (tout) but their identities and whereabouts remain unknown.
