Ahead of Women's Day (March 8), the World Women's Day of Prayer was held at Namugongo Catholic Matryrs Shine in Kampala on Friday. The Catholic, Orthodox and Anglican churches were represented.

 It was a hot Friday, but the ladies looked bright and jolly in their gomesis (traditional attire)

 Who said the elderly are not fit and have weak bones? Not this lady who was in the mood over paka-chining!

 There was even voluntary HIV testing and as you can see, the willingess to test was high

 Christian Women presenting a gift to Rev. Sir. Regina Nabagereka who was the main preacher during the celebrations
