At Kireka Seventh Day Adventists church polling station, Mutebi seemed to have had a three minutes good-natured question and answer session with the presiding officer only identified as Richard.

"I have never been at a polling station in my life, I really want to see what takes place so if you want, you can come along," Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II told journalists Thursday morning.

Clad in a tangerine orange jacket, navy blue track-suit, a sporty cap and Gucci sunglass with white handkerchief in the left hand, the jovial Mutebi was going about his routine morning drills when he met a group of journalists at the first turn to his Palace in Kireka, Wakiso district.

The anxious journalists anticipated that for the first time in history, Mutebi was going to cast his vote but this never happened.

Mutebi, while exchanging pleasantries added that he will engage presiding officers on how the process is handled at all the polling stations around his residence.

Amid ululations from hundreds of people that turned up to cast their votes as early as 7:00am, Mutebi proceeded to Kireka Church of Uganda primary school.

Commercial cyclists (Boda-Boda) under the guidance of about 15 Uganda Peoples Defense Force (UPDF) officers and 4 other private security guards, the cyclists joined the procession chanting long live your majesty and constant fare-fair hooting.

At Kireka Church of Uganda primary school, Mutebi again engaged the presiding officer shortly before heading back to his palace.

"Thank you for accompanying me. Now let me go and have my breakfast," Mutebi told the journalists at about 9:15am as he entered his gate.
