Maxime, Omar, Orland Ssentamu win in Garuga

In the 65cc Aviv Orland defeated his rivals Imran Nkurunziza and Habibu Kiggundu who finished second and third respectively.

It was a fully packed day of action as motocross fans were kept fully active for the entire sunny and dusty day supporting their riders.

It all started in the Pee Wee class with William Blick Jr. battling Miguel Katende, before 50 cc defending champion Isabella Blick faced off with Alon Orland and Gift Ssebuguzi in another tight, heated showdown that ended with Orland as the victor with Blick and Ssebuguzi finishing  second and third respectively.

In the 65cc Aviv Orland defeated his rivals Imran Nkurunziza and Habibu Kiggundu who finished second and third respectively.

However, it was a clash of the titans as Stav Orland battled Fortune Ssentamu with the latter winning the first heat but crashed in the second heat to leave Ssentamu take the show.

"I crashed  but I will be back because I want the Uganda championship, East Africa and the Africa Championship," Stav Orland stated after the event.

Meanwhile, Maxime Van Pee won the MX1 category as 10 times champion Arthur Blick Jr. and Talha Kiggundu finished second and third respectively ins a tight race that excited the mammoth crowd that endured the heavy dust and sun.

"The event was good we didn't have any injuries and I have also improved because the last time I competed with Branch in Zimbabwe he overlapped me which he didn't do today and I just have to improve on my speed in the corners," Maxime stated.

In the MX2 category Fatuh Kiggundu lived to his promise defeating Alestair Blick, while Ali Omar Yasser won the MX125 category.
