Uganda's representatives in both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup are plotting to ambush their opponents over the weekend.
Vipers who take on Nigerian side Enyimba in the Champions league this Friday at Nakivubo stadium will be representing the country for the first time. Enyimba are two time CAF Champions League winners (2003 and 2004).
Earlier in 2010, the Buikwe based side were supposed to take part in the Champions league after winning the title but pulled out in 2010 citing financial constraints.
If Vipers progress, they will play either Lioli (Lesotho) or Vital'O of Burundi in the first round.
Meanwhile, SC Villa host Khartoum Watani away in Sudan on Saturday and the return leg will be in Kampala on February 27. If Villa win the two legs, they will face either JKU (Zanzibar) or Gaborone (Botswana).
