Museveni warns against disorder during elections

He noted that government has strengthened its capabilities of establishing and maintaining security

President Yoweri Museveni has warned those with plans of disrupting the country's peace as it prepares for next week's presidential elections, that they will be dealt with decisively.

Speaking at a rally that held at Mugwanya Summit College playground over the weekend, Museveni said; "the NRM government has maintained peace for a long time. I do not see why someone should try to disrupt it".

He noted that government has strengthened its capabilities of establishing and maintaining security and all those who plan to disrupt peace should be ready to face the full extent of these capabilities.

Museveni also promised to grant Wakiso Municipality a full city status through improving on the road network, drainage system and education in addition to building modern markets so as to ensure that it reaches the level of cities worldwide.
