Byekwaso is looking to collecting more accolades starting with this year's International Natural Bodybuilding Association Pro/Am world championships in Hungary

Mr. Universe and AM World Cup bodybuilding holder Ivan Byekwaso has embarked on preparations that will see him defend his titles this year.

But he is hoping this time he can even get more support from several other individuals and companies for his training, travel and upkeep during the international competitions.

And like Oliver Twist, he wants more help from President Yoweri Museveni who in 2014 bailed him at the last minute en-route to competing at the World Championship in Slovakia and the Natural Olympiad in the US.

He did not disappoint then, winning a silver at the World Champions before he claimed a bronze at the World Amateur Body Building Natural Olympia in the US.

"I'm the defending champion and all eyes are on me, and everyone is working towards claiming my titles so I have to start early preparations and work hard to keep our flag up there," Byekwaso said

"If possible I should also be able to travel with other competitors so that I'm not a lonely figure out there; so I wish the President can come to my recue,"

Byekwaso is looking to collecting more accolades starting with this year's International Natural Bodybuilding Association Pro/Am world championships in Hungary due June 10-11, 2016.

The championship which is open to all natural athletes both in the amateur and professionals divisions will also act as a qualifier for the Natural Olympia due in Las Vegas in November.

In September Byekwaso will be called on to defend the Mr. Universe Crown he won last year before he travels to Las Vegas and San Diego in November, to defend the World Cup and also at take another shot at the Natural Olympia crown respectively.

His heroics that saw him win the Mr. Universe and the AM World Cup in the US last year can greatly be attributed to the arrival of Pemba Sports Africa who ensured he was able to train in Uganda and the US without any interruption before he won.
