Valentine day gift: Golola vs Tugume

Jan 19, 2016

The non-title super middleweight contest has been scheduled for Valentine Day at the Lugogo Indoor MTN Arena.

At last, Moses Golola has Okayed the long awaited re-match fight against Titus ‘Hard Rock' Tugume.

The non-title super middleweight contest has been scheduled for Valentine Day (February 14) at the Lugogo Indoor MTN Arena.

Golola announced the acceptance on Saturday at Nakivubo where Farouk Daku beat Hungarian Jozsef Karmony for the WBF Super Middleweight contest.

"He has been looking for me. I was only silent about it because it favoured him. He will regret why he ever asked for the re match. My dislocation is healed now. I also hope it will not be ‘an affair' to him this time, but his wife must be present as he signs the fight contract so that she is not heart - broken seeing her husband go down on Valentine Day," said Golola.

Tugume asked for the re-match immediately he recovered from the knock out at Freedom City on August 31, 2013.

Tugume has been tracking Golola since he finished studies last year.

"I hear Golola is looking for retirement from kickboxing. But we have one unfinished deal of the rematch, he has been dodging for long. I want to prove to my fans that it was a lucky punch and it has been unfair to dodge for such long time," Tugume said recently at Essa Gym in Munyonyo.

Ssubi Promotions will handle the fight, which Uganda Kickboxing Federation president Hassan Sekirime has said they are ready to sanction.
