All elections petitions will be completed by the judiciary within the first six months after the forthcoming general elections.
This was revealed Friday by the Principal Judge Yorokam Bamwine during a conference for judges at Kabira Country Club.
As part of this intervention aimed at ensuring that justice is not delayed, Bamwine said the judges have planned to have a discourse on the February 10 and 11 to generate ideas on how best the objective will be achieved.
In the past, election petitions have taken long periods - like four years - for final verdicts to be made, which made many victims to lose confidence in the country's judicial system.
