Be impartial, Police told

The Citizens Election Observers Network - Uganda (CEON-U), a consortium of 18 civil society organizations monitoring electoral process has appealed to security agencies especially the Police force to be impartial as they handle issues relating to the campaigns head of the February 2016 general elections.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at the Foundation for Human Rights Intiative (FHRI), offices in Nsambya, Kampala, the CEON chairperson Dr. Livingstone Sewanyana said they have observed incidents where the police have acted partially and unprofessionally which sends a bad signal in the entire electoral process.
