Pastor Kajoba new SDA Church Bishop

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church elects its leaders for a 5-year term at national, regional and international level. For local churches, leadership is elected on a one-year term basis.



Pastor Samuel Kajoba is the new Bishop of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in central Uganda. 

Pastor Kajoba takes over the mantle from Pastor James Kaggya. He was elected during a three-day session of the Central Uganda Conference (CUC) held at Bugema University presided over by the Arch-bishop Dr. Daniel Maate.

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church elects its leaders for a 5-year term at national, regional and international level.  For local churches, leadership is elected on a one-year term basis. 

Pr. Jeremiah Alisengawa retained his post as the executive secretary and Elder Edward Miiro treasurer respectively. 
Pastor Dr. Yafesi Walugembe who once served as the executive secretary bounced back as the ministerial and family life director. 

Other directors include: Pr. Josiah Usaba (stewardship and church development), Pr. Joshua Sentongo (youth, music and chaplaincy), Lillian Mugerwa (women and children ministry), Pr. Rogers Kaggwa (education and communication) and Pr. Yusufu Mbabaali (evangelism and Sabbath school).
