Ali Omar Yasser and Waleed Omar ruled the Busiika track, fulfilling their earlier promise to the fans when they won the MX2 and 65cc categories respectively in the Mountain Dew National Motocross championship on Sunday.
Waleed Omar beat rivals Arnold Nyanzi and Malcom Lubega in the three heats of the 65cc category, sealing the 2015 overall national championship.
Ali Omar beat rival Alestair Blick and Fatuh Kiggundu to stretch his lead by 28 points on top of the standings in the MX2 category.
Omar needs to finish third in the last event in December to win the MX2 2015 overall championship.
Meanwhile it was a bad day for the Blick team as Arthur Blick Jr.'s hopes of winning three national motorsport championships this season suffered a big setback after he lost all the three heats to Maxime Van Pee who collected a maximum 60 points.

Blick who has won the 2015 National Rally Championship (NRC) and the Enduro championship wanted a win to close the point gap on Maxime but that was not possible as Maxime won all the three heats to stretch his lead to 19 points.
Maxime is now on 370pts while Blick is on 351.
"It was a good event but it is not yet over till the last event in December which will determine the championship," Maxime stated.
In the 85cc category, the Orland brothers Stav and Aviv ruled the Busiika track defeating Fortune Ssentamu in all the heats.
