Micho picks 18 to face Togo in World Cup qualifier

Uganda Cranes Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named 18 players to travel to Togo for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier to be played in Lome on Thursday.

Uganda Cranes Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named 18 players to travel to Togo for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier to be played in Lome on Thursday. The squad was released on the official FUFA website www.fufa.co.ug today.
 
Orlando Pirates Yasser Mugerwa and Jamal Salim of Al-Merreikh are two professional players that have not been  included on the 18-man Cranes squad that will face Togo at  Kegue Stadium, Lome.
 
Uganda plays Togo in Lome on Thursday and on Sunday in Kampala in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
 
Mugerwa and Jamal were  dropped after this evening's session at Vienna College in Namugongo.
 
The Ugandan contingent led by FUFA Technical Chairman Hamid Juma departs on Wednesday morning (4 am) aboard a chartered flight (F-100 Reg 5Y-SIA).
