CECAFA: Uganda drawn to face Kenya

Group A: Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Somalia

Group B: Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Djibouti

Group C: Sudan, Rwanda, South Sudan, Zanzibar

RECORD CECAFA champions Uganda will face neighbours and defending champions Kenya in Group B of the 2015 CECEFA Senior Challenge Cup. 

Also drawn in the group are Burundi and Djibouti in the regional event that will feature Zambia as the guest team.

The 38th edition of the annual tournament will be held in Ethiopia from November 21 to December 6.

Kenya won the 2013 title after beating Sudan 2-0 in Nairobi. The 2014 edition was cancelled.

The 2015 tournament was initially scheduled to be played in Rwanda but the country’s Rwanda's preparation to host the 2016 African Nations Championship led to the switch.
