The Papal Charity walk held today in Kampala and Mbarara, has received massive support from Ugandans, with Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga receiving several offers to buy tickets and cash specifically to help renovate Namugongo and Munyonyo shrines.
Christians and well wishers in Mbarara and Kampala have given support by buying charity walk tickets, and special rosaries from Rome in a drive led by Vision Group ahead of the Pope's visit next month.
Chief walker in Kampala is CP Mayiga, Katikkiro of Buganda.
