Mr. Universe Ivan Byekwaso believes the specialized training he is going through is getting him closer to his dream of winning the World Cup and the Natural Olympia natural building championships.

The two events are due November 7 in San Diego and in Las Vegas on November 12-15 thereafter, respectively.

The 32 year old muscle man has now spent two weeks in camp with renowned San Diego based natural bodybuilding coach Gaspar Lorenzo at the World Gym in California.

His training is monitored by among others Miss Tara Caballero of Muscle tech who ensures Byekwaso sleeps on time, rests well, eats well and trains well.

"I have improved my upper body a lot and have put on more size (2kgs of pure muscle) so expect only good things," Byekwaso told the New Vision.

This will be Byekwaso's second time at the Natural Olympia having won a bronze at the event last year.

Two other Ugandan body builders Mr. Kampala Mubarak Kizito and runner-up Robert Yiga will later join Byekwaso in the same championship.

Before he left for the US, Byekwaso said his dream was to win the Mr. Universe championships three times as well as those two championships to enable Uganda host one of those events as defending champions in 2018.
