Tornado Bee proved why they remain the team to beat in the women cricket league following a remarkable win over K.I.C.C at Budo oval on Saturday.

K.I.C.C’s chances of claiming the title remain very slim since their loss to Tornado bee has seen them move to second place with Tornado Bee now in the lead  with only one game remaining to end the season.

“The win has put us in a better position for the tittle and honestly the girls were determined to take the game” Said Jackson Ogwang, coach for Tornado Bee.

Gertrude Chandiru’s impressive performance, scoring 25 off  42 balls could not help KICC though on personal terms, it means she has surpassed Janet Mbabazi of wanderers by 24 runs.

In the other games, charity Trust Fund beat Pioneer by 113 runs to keep in the top five as Jinja SS overcame Premier at Jinja oval.
