Purpose of the consultancy The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) Uganda Limited was selected by the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) as the second Principal Recipient for the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and Malaria through a competitive and transparent process in 2010.
Purpose of the consultancy The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) Uganda Limited was selected by the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) as the second Principal Recipient for the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and Malaria through a competitive and transparent process in 2010.
Since 2012, under the Round 10 and Now the New Funding Model (NFM), TASO with funding from the Global Fund has been procuring and routinely distributing Long Lasting insecticidal Mosquito Nets (LLINs) to pregnant women attending antenatal (ANC) and Children brought to immunization clinics (EPI). The LLINs distribution under TASO supplements mass LLINS distribution by the Ministry of Health (MoH) to ensure sustained coverage across the country.
