Win still elusive for Saints after stalemate

The Saints FC are yet to secure a win in top-flight football after a goalless draw against Jinja Municipal Council at Kakindu Stadium, and have managed to pick up only two points so far.

Both sides were in the FUFA Big League last season.

It was The Saints’ second draw since being promoted to the Azam Premier League.

The encounter saw neither side able to penetrate the opposite back with meaningful effect, and by the final whistle, the scoreline was intact.

Meanwhile, Maroons FC suffered a third straight defeat in this campaign after losing 1-0 to Soana FC.

It was similar misfortunes for Lweza who lost 1-0 to SC Villa at Wankulukuku Stadium.
