Former Kampala Resident Commissioner Aisha Kabanda has said she will not campaign for her husband, Haji Omar Dawood Kalinge who has declared his intentions to contest for the presidency.
Former Kampala Resident Commissioner Aisha Kabanda has said she will not campaign for her husband, Haji Omar Dawood Kalinge who has declared his intentions to contest for the presidency.
“I know him as a very good husband and great speaker but how this translates into national leadership is a totally different issue. He should have instead opted for a parliamentary seat which I would have supported,” Kabanda told New Vision in an exclusive interview.
