American Judge inspires Ugandan women

The executive committee of New Faces New Voices hosted the youngest American Administrative Law Judge, her worship, Tiffany Michele Williams to dinner at Metropole Hotel in Kampala, which turned out into a motivational session.

The theme of the dinner was “Total woman inside and out.”

The dinner was graced by high profiled Ugandan female judges, who included Lady Justice Julia Sebutinde, chairperson New Faces New Voices, Lady Justice Esther Kisakye, Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire and other high-profile women leaders.

Justice Tiffany was in Uganda on the mission of empowering women and girls on how to discover their purpose for life.



“I am not only an administrative law judge but a minister of the gospel as well,” Tiffany, a Judge, ordained minister, author, and the founder of the Esther Project.

She began with a powerful worship song; ‘my tribute’ which was sung by Andrea Crouch.

Williams gave a brief account how Esther project was started. “The project was birthed out personal pain,” she noted.

She went through a broken relationship at the age 36, a week after she was appointed Administrative Law Judge in New Jersey in The US.

At the time, she had no idea that God was using her pain in molding it into her future ministry.

With her Esther project adapted from the biblical story of Esther, she is reaching out to the hurting world with the message of empowerment.

“God requires us to take up the initiative and do something for others, but that can only be done when you discover the Esther within you- women who overcame personal adversities to help others,” Tiffany remarked.

Lady Justice Sebutinde emphasized the call to service beyond oneself.

“You cannot be busy to serve your community and God. Judge Tiffany leads an extremely busy life, but still she gets time to serve others,” she noted.

Lady Justice Julia Sebutinde and several others were also crowned with Esther’s mantle- an inspirational mantle meant to encourage and inspire women and girls to fulfill their potential in life.
