Uganda Cranes player Yasser Mugerwa has finally joined South Africa giants Orlando Pirates Football Club on a three-year deal.

 
Mugerwa, who has been at the club for trials for some time, also confirmed the move on his facebook page.

"I always thought I wanted to play professionally and I always knew that I would have to make a lot of sacrifices. I made sacrifices by leaving Uganda and my family to start a new life. I have made new friends and don't usually to the old ones. But am doing all this because of having a better future," Mugerwa  stated on his facebook page.

Mugerwa,, a former Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) player, joined Orlando Pirates from URA FC for an undisclosed fee. He will be putting on  shirt number 24.
