KCCA FC and defending champions Vipers opened up their title quest with 3-0 victories on the opening day of the 2015/2016 Azam Uganda Premier League.
The Lugogo based side defeated Sadolin Paints away in Bugembe while Vipers beat new entrants the Saints in Buikwe.
Joseph Ochaya, Nelson Senkatuka and an own goal from Kisege Paul put KCCA joint top.
Last season’s most valuable player (MVP) Farouk Miya scored a brace before new signing Brian Nkuubi added the other for Vipers.
At Wankukulu Stadium, home side Express played to goalless draw with Police while Soana also drew 0-0 with Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreations grounds.
