The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) Under APL1 World Bank Project has continued to commit increased resources to 659 secondary schools offering Universal Secondary Education (USE) to achieve equitable access to quality education for all Ugandans.
1.0 Introduction
The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) Under APL1 World Bank Project has continued to commit increased resources to 659 secondary schools offering Universal Secondary Education (USE) to achieve equitable access to quality education for all Ugandans. Resources provided include infrastructure in government/government aided schools and instructional materials in both government and private USE schools. The instructional materials include: (i) text books for the seven core subjects; (ii) science kits; and (iii) chemicals and reagents. The infrastructure included; classrooms, libraries, multi-purpose science blocks, teachers’ houses, and sanitation and hygiene facilities
