1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue on18th February, 2009.
2. The Government of Uganda represented by the Rural Electrification Board has received a loan from the International Development Association toward the cost of Energy for Rural Transformation Project, Phase II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Construction of Electricity Distribution Networks to Selected Agricultural Farms and Enterprises.
1. The Rural Electrification Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Consultancy Services for EIA/RAPS in Lot
1: Ruhumba-Kashwa with tee-off Rwebishuri; and Lot 2: Kiganda-Mile 16 with tee-off Katabalanga and Kibyamirizi.
2. The Rural Electrification Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Consultancy Services for EIA/ RAPS in Lot 1: Ruhumba-Kashwa with tee-off Rwebishuri; and Lot 2: Kiganda-Mile 16 with tee-off Katabalanga and Kibyamirizi.
