Sauti Ya Africa, an all-male group of vocalists staged a live band concert last Sunday at Theatre La Bonita. It started with a national anthem after which the group sang the first song Oh holy night.

Their performances portrayed an immense and diverse vocal ability as with every song; they comfortably hit the high notes and harmonized well with the band.

Just when the crowd was starting to pick out a favourite, there arose another and then another so before they realized, they had fallen in love with each one of the four men in the Sauti Ya Africa music group.

There first half of the performances had songs like Away in manger, When a child is born, and O little town of Bethlehem; while the second half had songs like How do i, Total eclipse, and In your eyes et al.

Though the crowd wasn't that big, the performance was breath taking and by 10:00pm, the time they finished singing, every one of the revellers felt they had been given their money’s worth.
