Former prime minister, Amama Mbabazi on Monday picked forms for nomination as a candidate in the 2016 Presidential elections.
Mbabazi, who has also previously been the NRM secretary general, declared he would contest for president as an independent candidate.
The local political landscape is beginning to take shape ahead of next year's general as various prospective political aspirants start to gear up for the polls.
