Ugandan defender Juuko Murshid scored the winner as Tanzanian side Simba SC beat visiting URA FC in an international friendly at the National Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam.

Simba went ahead early through Kelvin Ndayisenga before the Ugandan side leveled thanks to a Frank Kalanda first half strike.

The two teams went for the break tied, and it remained so for most periods after restart, until late on when Murshid clinched the winner for the home club in the 82nd minute.

This was URA’s third friendly game in two weeks, having played Paidha Black Angels and Onduparaka in West Nile region last week.

They beat FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels 1-0 at Barokoro grounds in Zombo district after drawing one-one with with Onduparaka at Green Light stadium in Arua in the earlier warm-up game.

URA is expected to arrive back in Uganda today to prepare for their first game against BUL in the Azam Uganda  Premier League on August  26 at Metha Stadium Lugazi.
