I slept with 500 women before reforming - Promoter Suudiman

Aug 11, 2015

I used to think of women only-morning, afternoon and dinner. Meaning each day I used to make love with three different women, I almost died.

Suudi Lukwago aka SuudiMan is a music promoter. He once brought international artistes like Macka Diamond, Konshens among others. He had a chat with Glorias Musiime about his life and career.

How is business doing?

It is ok, we are preparing for Eddy Kenzo’s concert at Hotel Africana.

Tell me about your personal life

true

(Laughs)  I will not!

Are you married?

Yes, with 5 children and some are abroad.  But I have never wedded.

I hear you are a man of women, how true is that?

I think that was before I married. I am now a changed man. You know at times, we have to respect our feelings. The truth is I used to change women like clothes.

I still don’t understand your statement.

There was a time when meals were not my concern.  I used to think of women only-morning, afternoon and dinner. Meaning each day I used to make love with three different women, I almost died.

Oh! That’s strange, so do you remember the number of women you have slept with in your life?

(Laughs) If I count, the list is endless, like 500 women.

How do you balance your work with family life?

There is technology. I travel a lot but we keep talking on Skype, Whatsapp and Facebook. She really understands me.

How does your wife feel about your behaviour?

She is used to it.

What prompted you to join the music industry?

Ideally, I wanted to be boxing promoter but my friend advised me not to risk, I then decided to join music. That was 1997.

What have you achieved from promoting music?

It really pays me well because I have managed to have a wife out of it, build houses and take care of my children. Even if I die today, they can still study at Harvard University.

What’s your favourite local concert that you have ever organised?

It was Sitya Loss concert by Eddy Kenzo at Kati Kati last year. I harvested a lot.

Comment about your current relationship with Henry Tigan

We are back together. We even recorded a song for the Electoral Commission three weeks ago.

What would you choose between women and money?

Both
