Invisible Dancers impress at Best Dance Group competition

The question of whether they were invisible or not came up among the two judges of the night at the Uganda’s Best Dance Group (UBDG) competition last Friday.

Big Sam thought they were absolutely invisible because they put up a great performance, while Nicholas, a former contestant, thought they were very visible because they knew what they were doing.

And the audience agreed that the dance group from Kasese was very interesting and talented. They were not only dressed to the nines (T-shirts, black jeans, jackets & black supra shoes), but they also picked the right music, and managed to impress the judges and the audience with their dance moves.

Other groups that equally pulled it off on the UBDG stage were the Jets Crew from Kampala who appeared on dance floor first. Their dance moves were creative, and well-choreographed.

The only mistake they made was to not maintain eye contact with the audience. The Bone Breakers from Gulu are another group the audience and the judges will remember for long time. They impressed everybody when they started out by loudly breaking their necks, arms and legs aided by techno music.

However, the Stumaz from Jinja were a sleeping pill, as one of their members (Suleiman) kept getting lost, and occasionally checking up on the rest to find out which move was next.

Other groups that participated were A-Z Excutive dancers from Fort Portal, Luo Revolution from Gulu, Entebbe’s Army Thunders Entebbe, B-boy Tango also from Entebbe, and Zion Dancers from Kampala. The winning group will take home sh10m.
