JAMES Masiko hit a hole-in-one on hole number two as the Entebbe MARSH Chairman’s cup ended on Saturday at Entebbe Club.

Masiko was in the company of Johnson Omollo, Chris Rutebarika and Robert Sabiiti when he achieved the rare feat in the one-day tournament that attracted 139 players.

But it was Edwin Tabaro who claimed the overall prize after returning 40 stable ford points in the tournament played in honour of the serving captain of the club.

The ladies overall prize was taken by Gorreth Namukasa while professional golfer Vincent Byamukama fresh from winning the Uganda open top prize was not about to let go of the top spot very soon as he took the lion’s share of the sh5m pro’s kitty in the same tournament.

In other indoor games Mike Odur beat Patrick Mugisha 2-1 to win the Darts competition while Edwin Tumusiime and Carey Kalungi were Snooker and Lawn Tennis winners respectively.

Sponsors MARSH have already committed another sh80m for the development of the Club and next year’s tournament.
