Uganda v Egypt (
Saturday: 4pm local time)

Uganda Kobs players are in high spirits and are ready to face Egypt in the CAF Orange Under-23 African Nations Championship Qualifier.

The return leg will be held at Mandela National Stadium Namboole on Saturday.

But Uganda’s team faces an uphill task after going down 4-0 to the north African side during the first leg at the Borg Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria a week ago.

The Egyptians will arrive in Kampala today. National coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s Kobs need to win 5-0 to advance.

The top team after the return leg will storm the African Nations Championship finals scheduled for Senegal in December.

The top three teams in Senegal will qualify for the next year’s summer Olympic Games in Brazil.

Meanwhile, Kobs drew 1-1 with Express in a friendly match held on Tuesday. In an earlier friendly on Saturday, they beat SC Villa 2-0.
