Ugandan side KCCA FC will have tussle it without team playmaker Mutyaba Muzamiru who tore his muscle during training ahead of today`s game against South Sudan’s Malakia FC.

Team doctor Ivan Ssewanyana advised Mutyaba to be rested as striker Derrick Nsibambi is completely out of the tournament with calf injury.

This is a huge blow for Uganda’s representatives as they go for a decisive game today – they need a win or a draw to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Team captain Tom Masiko called for composure and hard work on the part of his teammates.

“We need not to relax. It’s a do-or-die game,” he said.

“We need to give our whole today because it’s still early to pack and go back home. The boys are aware of what is at stake and we shall give our best.

Mutyaba’s absence prompted the technical team to release a new line up.

Opio Emmanuel will be in goal again after his great performance against Adama City. Okot Denis returns to the starting eleven after missing out against Adama City.

Hassan Wasswa will partner with Mpuuga Martin in defense as the midfield will be patrolled by three midfielders: Ntege Ivan, Masiko Tom, Ssenkumba Hakim.

Kondo Shaban, Isaac Sserunkuuma and Mike Birungi will lead the attack.

Substitutes: Ochan Benjamin, Mpiima Saka, Awany Timothy, Nsubuga Dan, Kavuma Habib, Kasule Owen, Matovu Faroque.
