Thirteen people were Monday charged with two counts of murder.
The accused are: Alex Sserwanga alias Muzei and Julius Okongo, 20, residents of Kifampa zone in Nakulabye; Moses Opanyi, 18, residing in Kisenyi-Nakivubo; Geoffrey Sserunjogi, 22, a resident of Bugalani zone in Bwaise Kawempe division; Barrack Yiga, 18, from Rubya village in Namungoona; Ronald Kalisa, 18 and Richard Mulumba, 19, a resident Mubarak Zone in Makindye Division.
Others were; Ibrahim Asiimwe, 19, a resident of Lubya village in Namungoona; Brian Komakech, 20, from Kisenyi central zone; Daniel Kato, 36, alias Dan Balilaine of Kifuufu zone in Ndeeba; Micheal Masinde, 19, alias Clever J from Lungujja; John Mukwana, 36, alias Munakenya residing in Betania zone in Ndeeba and Tadeo Balimunsi, 26, alias Gen. Kwaa from Namere zone in Kawempe division.
Mukono Grade II Magistrate, Roselyn Nsenge, charged the suspects with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated robbery.
Court heard that the accused on July 5, 2015 murdered Eriasafi Kafeero, a cab driver from Gulama Zone in Mukono Municipality who operated at Seeta stage.
It is alleged that after killing him using deadly weapons, his car, a Toyota Raum registration number UAQ 148Y, was robbed.
Court also heard that the accused murdered Isaac Talugende Bahehe on May 1, 2015 from Nakagere village and dumped the body in Rwajjali River.
Talugende's car, a Raum registration number UAW 717S, was also robbed.
The accused were not allowed to enter any plea because the court had no jurisdiction to hear their case.
They were remanded to Luzira Prison until August 4 when they will appear for mention of their case.
