KENYAN afro-pop outfit Sauti Sol touched down Thursday evening, ahead of the Tusker Lite and Vision Group backed concert on Saturday at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Their flight aboard RwandAir was delayed due technical issues and arrived hours after the scheduled time.

This will be their first ever performance in Uganda.

Only two of their four members, Polycarp Othieno and Bien Aime Baraza landed first and the rest are to touch down a little later in the night.

Baraza promised journalists a great show saying that the time to perform on Ugandan was always to come.

"This is the Pearl of Africa, so we feel at home. We urge all our fans to turn up in big numbers and we have a good time."

The band has recorded as many songs and won several awards that include Channel O Music Video and MTV Europe Music Video Awards.
