Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic hopes the CHAN and Uganda Cranes matches will give the U-23 players confidence ahead of their Africa Youth Championship qualifier against Egypt on July 18.

Micho is conducting training for a squad comprising Cranes, CHAN and the U-23 (Uganda Kobs) players at Vienna College, Namugogo.

Uganda Cranes home based players will face Tanzania in the CHAN first round return leg at Nakivubo on Saturday.

Uganda won the first leg 3-0.

The senior Uganda Cranes team will take on Malawi in a friendly set for Lilongwe on July 6.

Micho said he will mainly use the U-23 team players in the match.

The U-23 will play Egypt in the last round of the Africa Youth Championship on July 18.
