LIM Misung wins Royal Netherlands Golf Cup

CHINESE national Lim Misung received a perfect 22nd wedding anniversary gift after she won the Royal Netherlands Business Golf Cup corporate tournament at Kitante

SOUTH Korean national LIM Misung received a perfect 22nd wedding anniversary gift after she won the Royal Netherlands Business Golf Cup corporate tournament at Kitante on Saturday.

 

Misung returned 41 stable ford points to emerge champion of the one-day event, a feat that won her two return air tickets to the Netherlands courtesy of Royal Dutch Airlines KLM.

 

Netherlands ambassador to Uganda Alphons Hennekens and KLM Sales Manager Lukia Otema presented the cup and the ticket to the excited Misung who the previous day was celebrating her 22nd wedding anniversary.

"I thank all my colleagues I played with, they gave me good company but the win has also come at a good time when I'm celebrating 22 years of marriage, but it is also my first win here at the Uganda Golf Club," Misung who has been a member for the past four years said.

 

David Ssekitoleko (40pts) who was runner up will also enjoy a dfcu Bank sponsored weekend for two at Kyobe Safari Lodge.

 

Morris Ashaba (39pts), Paul Nuwagaba (40pts) and Duan Tianxu (40pts) were the top performers in the men Groups A-C respectively with Evelyn Asiimwe (38pts) and Lui Ming Shu (39pts) topping the ladies groups A and B.

 

The now annual competition organized by the Netherlands Embassy and sponsored by KLM, dfcu Bank and NUTIP is meant to foster trade relationships between the Netherlands and Uganda.
