Fire at Mulago

There are reports of a fire that broke out at Mulago in a store room outside the wards. The fire is said to have broken out when someone was preparing food in the area near the wards. A fire Unit was despatched to the scene.

Fire has gutted stores of Mwanamugimu stores at Mulago hospital.
The fire broke out at around 8:30am where a nurse was preparing breakfast on a charcol stove.
Old items including beds were burnt and by the time the Police Fire brigade arrived, the security team at Mulago had put out the fire before it spread to the wards.
