REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENTS TO MONITOR AND EVALUATE IMPLEMENTATION OF SITESPECIFIC ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT PLANS (ESMPS) IN SPECIFIC SITES TO ENSURE PLAUSIBLE EFFECTS TO THE ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIETY

The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund towards the cost of theWater Supply and Sanitation Programme, and intends to apply part of the agreed amounts for these funds to payments under the contracts for consultancy assignments to monitor and evaluate implementation of site-specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) in specific sites to ensure plausible effects to the environment and society.
The Services included under this project shall include;
• Supervision and monitoring of implementation of site-specific ESMPs to ensure that likely negative effects are managed as planned and scheduled
• Evaluation of the effects / impacts of implemented site-specific ESMPs on the environment and communities

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENTS FOR TRAINING OF WATER BOARDS IN WSDF-C IN MANAGERIAL AND TECHNICAL ASPECTS

The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund towards the cost of theWater Supply and Sanitation Programme, and intends to apply part of the agreed amounts for these funds to payments under the contracts for consultancy assignments for training of water boards in WSDF-C in managerial and technical aspects.
The Services included under this project shall include;
• Reviewing the existing training material within and out of the sector and produce a suitable training kit for water boards
• Conducting regional workshops to impart skills in basic technical, managerial and financial aspects.
• Conducting hands-on/onsite training with individual water supply boards

The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund towards the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Programme, and intends to apply part of the agreed amounts for these funds to payments under the contracts for consultancy assignments Consultancy for conducting community based trainings on appropriate sanitation and Ecosan Technology in WSDF-C areas of operation.
The Services included under this project shall include;
• Conduct sanitation and community based trainings on appropriate sanitation and hygiene approaches in selected towns of WSDF-C region.
• Training on appropriate use of Ecosan and other technologies for the beneficiary households and institutions of promotional/ demonstration units in the WSDF-C region of operation.

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENTS FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAILED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FOR SEWERAGE AND REGIONAL FAECAL SLUDGE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund towards the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Programme, and intends to apply part of the agreed amounts for these funds to payments under the contracts for consultancy assignments for feasibility design, detailed design and construction supervision for sewerage and regional faecal sludge management facilities.
The Services included under this project shall include;
• Development of a Sanitation Investment Planning Tool.
• Design of Standard typical On-site Sanitation Infrastructure for any other appropriate infrastructure that may find application in Ugandan small towns. Designs will include feasibility, detailed designs, including all technical drawings and bills of quantities.
