As the competition gets tougher, it is time for the Top 10. But we shall not know who those are till the live shows start airing.

It took a lot of deliberation by the Judges, Ken Daniels Kayongo, Siima Sabiti and Esther Nabaasa, who went back and forth on who to pick and who to leave out.

Note that the Top 10 will be picked from a total of 28 that made it through the day one auditions.

Unlike the other auditions, each of the 28 was tasked to sing a song with the backing of a keyboard. In the end, it was quite evident that some of judges had favorites, like 15 year old Whinstone.

“We have had some really amazing talent in here, matter of fact we have had to pick the talented among the talented,” Kayongo, better known as Ken Daniels, spoke from his heart.

The frustration was raw in the judge’s eyes, matter of fact Siima confessed that some of the decisions might leave the judges a bit mad at each other and that it was a tough decision.

“Yes, you are really talented, each and every one of you, and there was just a very thin line between you and those who made it. It has not been easy at all,” Siima said quite emotionally.

Nabaasa then echoed their thoughts; “I just want to say that each of you can start a career at this point, you are that good!”

Meanwhile outside the Ndere Center auditorium where it all happened, there were mixed feelings. It was tears from some who had made and those who hadn’t, rather confusing for one who might not have been inside.

This day aside, the 10 who make it will be in the running for shs50million, a one year recording deal with Swangz Avenue and an iPad.

To win this however, they will each have to give live performance on stage and wow not just the judges but the general public that will be voting.

Catch the show, a sponsorship between Urban TV and Coca-Cola at 7pm, now airing on both Urban and Bukedde TVs.
