International friendly
August 14
Senegal v Zambia
Senegal national football team coach Alain Giresse has named a squad of 24 players for their forthcoming friendly without Chelsea striker Demba Ba. Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse was also ignored probably because he is suspended for the World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
Demba Ba fell out with Senegal Football Federation after missing a penalty in the 0-0 draw against Angola in March.
He was later dropped for the double header that followed. Marseille’s Modou Sogour has replaced him.
