As Trinity College Nabbingo prepares to mark 75 years of its existence, the school’s alumni have resolved to build an affiliate junior school, which will serve as the feeder school for the college.
According to the president of the Old Girls, Christine Ikiria Ssepuya, the proposed Trinity Juniour School has already acquired a sizeable piece of land, located besides the college’s sports ground. The old girls acquired the land through the good will of the school’s board of governors.

“Our fraternal schools like Gayaaza, Buddo and St. Mary’s College Kisubi have affiliate primary schools. We the alumni decided to spearhead the junor school project as a way to give back to our Alma Mater, Trinity College Nabbingo, which made us what we are. Trinity Juniour School will serve as the monument for the platinum jubilee of our school, which will happen in 2017.”
Seppuya requested fellow alumni, parents, corporate organisations and friends of the school to make financial contributions towards the junior school project, so that it can be completed ahead of the platinum jubilee celebrations.
In a related development, Trinity College Nabbingo on May 31 launched a 10-unit staff houses complex, which will ease staff accommodation at the school.
