At the end of the day one, 18 had made it to day two of the Coca-Cola rated next sing it auditions in Mbale.

However, the number grew as five people turned up asking for a chance at an audition. These claimed that they had missed the day one audition and luckily they were given a chance.

A one Sharon also showed up, and all three judges gave her a nod for the next round, which was a whisker away! This brought the number of those making it to round 2, to 19. In the end 14 people made it to the nationals.

Siima Sabiti, a judge on the show, was quite impressed with the day two auditions and thought Mbale had a great day two.

“I think that this has been a better day two, over all!” Siima said. First to audition was a one Bumali, who took on Jenifer Hudson’s Bleed for love, which got a nod from the judges. But then a fella called Malik came and ruined the pleasant auditions.

Ken Daniels Kayongo, a judge on the show said, “You committed murder, and you were just about to get away with it and then you went and brought a witness to court!” It was a no for him.

Next was Moses, doing a Julie Mutesasira song living the judges rather bored! Ken Daniels said; “that song was so plain for me. You come across as a regular guy!” Siima said they were looking for a person with star quality, and he just wasn’t it.

However, Esther Nabaasa, a judge on the show said that she sees him as a wedding singer and would put him through because of that. In the end, Ken Daniels was convinced too; it was a yes for Moses.

Those who made it from Mbale to Kampala are; Sharon Grace, Bumali, Josephine, Moses, Sharon, Esther, Shakira, Joanna, Moses, Maggie, Martin, Biggie, Faith and Rota.

The fourteen that made it from Mbale are in the running for sh50m, a one-year recording contract with Swangz Avenue an ipad.
