Vipers focused on league title

Vipers coach Edward Golola has asked his players to stay focused ahead of their remaining league games.

Vipers coach Edward Golola has asked his players to stay focused ahead of their remaining league games.
Golola made the plea after his side defeated KCCA 2-0 in the Azam Uganda Premier League on Friday at Phillip Omondi Stadium.
"If my players stay determined in all our remaining games in the league there is doubt we shall win the league this season,"Golola stated.
He added that all the remaining games in the league will played as a final.
Mike Mutyaba's strike and an own goal from Yassin Mugabi extended Vipers' lead at the top of the table to 56 points one above second placed SC Villa.
Elsewhere, SC Villa maintained their hopes of winning the league by beating Soana 3-1 at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
At Wankulukuku, Lweza beat Police 1-0 while Kira Young defeated Express.
In Mutagga, home side Bright Stars played to goalless draw with URA.
