After winning a silver medal at the All Africa U-15 Badminton Championship in Egypt early this month, 12 year old Expedito Emuddu feels the sky is now the limit.
Late on Thursday at the MK Academy Badminton League held at Victory City Church in Ntinda, Kampala, Emuddu put up a splendid performance.
“It seems he has learnt more from the international tour because his performance has doubled,”Emuddu's coach Fred Kirabo said.

Shamika Fadhila in action
Emuddu started the day by walloping Aleen Minsariya 15-6 in the first set and later another 15-6 to pick his first win of the day.
He later added three more victories to his tally after thumping Jeevani Arman (15-3, 15-8), Naqib (15-1, 15-6) and Paul Makande (15-6, 15-4) to finish the day unbeaten.
In the other interesting encounters, Arman revenged an early defeat after beating Paul Makande 15-11, 15-13 while Makande also beat N. Naqib (15-13, 15-12) to recover from an early loss.
"I wanted to try out all the techniques I learnt at the tournament and am happy that they worked. I know I can perform better given more exposure," Emuddu said after his days victories.
Meanwhile in the other category, promising players Shamika Fadhila has maintained an unbeaten run to the MK Academy Badminton League, Kids category title following her recent performance at the Victory City Church in Ntinda, Kampala.
Fadhila beat M. Krupali 15-11 in the first set and later 15-10 in the other set to take a two-straight win in the girl’s category to stay on course at the inaugural event.
Badminton league action resumes next Friday April 24 at the same venue.
