Over the festive weekend, Christian group Gway thrilled their fans to enchanting gospel performances at Kampala Serena Hotel in a charity concert dubbed "Cooper Gway Give Back concert" alongside American gospel singer Anthony Faulkner.
It was Easter Sunday and while it was not a sell-out evening, by the time it all started at 7:30pm, the crowd had grown to acceptable numbers for the organizers to tee off the performances.

On stage, performers like Loice, Jeremiah, Proclaim gospel group, General Verse and Exodus did their curtain-raising gigs that stirred up the crowds before comedian Pablo, the night's host, ushered in the main performers of the night, Anthony Faulkner and Gway.
Faulkner was the first to perform at 8:30pm and he did several of his songs while sparing time to do a little preaching and giving reasons for gracing the event.
"I grew up from the projects in US and I know what life means as a helpless child. When Cooper asked me to join him on this noble cause of helping transform a child's life, I couldn't say no to it," he said between his performances.
He performed most of his songs like In The Midst Of, Closer, I Trust You and Hold On that inspired some revelers to dance and sing along.
It is after him that Gway finally took to stage and began entertaining everyone.
Led by the group's founder and leader, Cooper Ssali, they performed for almost an hour doing songs like Emigugu, One In A Million ft Naava Grey and Speak To The Mountain. And everyone seemed to enjoy.

The night was a charity do to help transform the life of disabled youth and children under the arms of Empowering Disabled Youth And Children (EDYAC), a non-profit organization based in Tororo district.
Pr. Jessica Kayanja, one of the night's main guests was grateful for the direction Cooper and Gway had taken in helping disabled children and pledged sh2m to the cause while artiste Exodus pledged sh1m and others also joined in with their pledges.
The night ended with Gway's last performance to seal off Easter Sunday to those attended, just like that.
