Chiselled bodies are to women, what boobs are to men?

“Girls are not visual beings” it was once touted by selfi sh conservative men stuck in a notion that was fostered by the tradition of arranged marriages.

Women, two decades ago, could not ogle a potential sexual partner.

They were tuned to receive any piece of male chosen for them and they were to be coy and love the hell out of the lout. It was unheard of for a female to ogle/appreciate a fi ne piece of human male, the way their male counterparts did, and still do.

Recently, however, and I do not want to credit feminism here, more and more women are openly ravishing (with their eyes and minds) men that have pleasing physiques.

Abs make us swoon

For a woman to want to hook up with you, she has to fi nd you physically attractive. And this attraction goes beyond good looks and wallet; it extends to bone structure, toned muscles, chiselled abs. Abs are to girls what boobs and bums are to men.

We may fall in love with your heart and the fact that you care for us, but we will love you more if your body is dreamy and inspires weak knees. The kind of masculinity that makes the spine tingle just imagining how our hands would feel on that particular specimen.

Girls hate themselves for putting on a pound or three. We are obsessed with the fact that men won’t find us attractive if we are healthy plus size women. And for good reason: many a man is obsessed with a girl with a curvy body.
Obscenely large boobs; narrow waist, wobbly butt... the works.

There is this particular guy that I almost slapped for being a nuisance. His wife just gave birth and is battling with baby weight. And what does this guy do? When he saw her arrive, he joked to his friends:

“There goes my pig of a wife!” It was all I could do not to smack his stupid face! He is not doing very well in the weight area himself: he spots a belly which is more worms than money and has the nerve to think he deserves a woman hot out of the Yoga studio!

It is a physical thing

You know how men fall for a girl just because she is hot? I have this friend who loves girls that other men do not find particularly appealing.

This one time he comes to the bar with a girl who was by no means a looker.
But whatever appeal she lacked in facial features, she made up for in body. She had the right curves in all the right places. A friend of his pulls him aside and says: “Dude, what are you doing with Godzilla?”

And he responds: “Who said I am taking her for a beauty contest? Do you see that body on her?”

The same reason men are physically attracted to women with large breasts, big hips and ample bottoms; is the same reason women go for bouncers, gym instructors, rugby players and body builders. Their biceps; large chests; narrow waists and fi rm behinds make us say: “He can gerrit.

All of it!” Gentleman, if you are wondering why she is frequently dropping her gym instructor’s name, stop wondering and lose the beer gut. I will clue you in on a secret: real women are drawn to men that make them laugh and feel needed and important.

These real women run on estrogen. Estrogen responds very strongly to testosterone. Physically appealing men exude lots of testosterone. Go fi gure!
