The burial arrangement for the slain assistant Director of Public Prosecution, Joan Kagezi, is out.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) a vigil and prayers will be held at her home at 5pm, a spokesperson in the DPP's office said.
A funeral service will be held at St. Luke Church Ntinda. Burial will take place at Bukasa Buloba along Mityana Road Thursday.
Kagezi was the lead prosecutor in a terrorism case involving al-Shabab militants who killed 79 people at Kyadondo rugby club and the Ethiopian village in July 2010.
Kagezi was killed a few minutes to 8.00pm local time by armed men riding on a motorcycle in Kiwatule on the outskirts of the city Kampala, as she returned home from work.
Internal affairs minister, Gen Aronda Nyakayirima, has assured mourners that police will investigate the matter and will bring the perpetuators to justice.
“Government is not threatened by the terrorists. I call upon the family to be strong in such a trying moment,” Aronda said.
