Dejavu Bar and Lounge re-opened

THE bar was closed by police to conduct investigations after artiste Emmanuel Mayanja aka AK47 fatally slipped and fell in the bar’s urinals, hitting his head on the floor in unclear circumstances

DEJAVU Bar and Lounge located in Kansanga, a city suburb has been re-opened following its closure on Tuesday.

 

The bar was closed by police after artiste Emmanuel Mayanja aka AK47 fatally slipped and fell in the bar’s urinals, hitting his head on the floor.  

 

Police closed the premises to conduct investigations on what had killed the brother to popular musician Chameleone.

 

By press time, the usual clientele was nowhere to be seen while cleaners at the bar went about their work as usual.

 

Police is still deployed around at the premises to thwart any incidents and barricade tape is still present in some areas of the bar like the front yard.

 

A worker at the bar said they waiting for police to give the go ahead to remove the remaining barricade tape from the premises.

 

Earlier on Thursday morning, a group of about 30 people gathered outside the premises en route to AK47’s resting place in Mityana.
